Genetic maps used to build Vitis 12X.2 assembly

Canaguier A, LePaslier MC, Duchêne E, Scalabrin S, Di Gaspero G, Mohellibi N, Guichard C, Choisne N, Bérard A, Chauveau A, Le Clainche I, Bounon R, Guichard C, Ruztenholtz C, Brunel D, Morgante M, Quesneville H, Adam-Blondon A-F (2017) Development of a new version of the grapevine reference genome assembly (12X.v2) based on genetic maps and paired-end sequences. http://doi.org/10.15454/1.4962347083032307E12

The data can be downloaded here .

The dataset comprises:

  • two excel files describing in details the SY x GR, CH x BI and the RI x GW genetic maps and the markers that were used to order and orient the scaffolds of the grapevine reference genome build (FN594950-FN597014, EMBL release 102; Vitis vinifera cv. PN40024)
  • the manually curated segregation files
  • the final 12X.v2 chromosome assembly at the EMBL recommended format.

The data set is provided in support of the data paper:
