The URGI platform develops data portals for national ( RARe Data Discovery ) and international ( FAIDARE , WheatIS Data Discovery ) federations. These portals allow users to find different types of public research data using a lightweight, keyword-based search and dedicated filters.
FAIDARE is a data discovery portal that enables users to search more than forty plant research databases around the world, including GnpIS and Recherche Data Gouv. It improves the findability and accessibility of datasets of most plant research data types, particularly genotyping, phenotyping and germplasms.
Based on the Breeding API (BrAPI) specifications, it provides easy access to public crop and forest plant datasets via a user-friendly web interface. FAIDARE also provides a standard interface that can be accessed programmatically via web services.
FAIDARE was developed to meet the needs of the ELIXIR Plant Sciences community .

The WheatIS Data Discovery is a web portal for searching and accessing wheat data in international databases. It provides researchers with quick and easy access to relevant biological data using specific keywords and filters. This portal is a subset of FAIDARE, filtered for wheat data.
It is part of the WheatIS working group of the Wheat Initiative , which is building an international wheat information system to support the wheat research community.

RARe Data Discovery is the data portal of the research infrastructure AgroBRC - RARe , which is included in the national roadmap. It brings together five networks of Biological Resources Centers that conserve genetic, genomic and biological resources assembled and characterised by research on domestic animals, model or cultivated plants and wild species related to domestic animals, forest trees, micro-organisms of agronomic or agri-food interest, and environmental micro-organisms and organisms. The aim of this portal is to facilitate the discovery and access of the biological ressources offered by the RARe BRCs.
