Data management

URGI support the Plant community with the best practices for a FAIR data management throughout their projects.

We assist national and European groups in setting up their Data Management Plans (DMP), either for projects or entities such as BRC and facilities. We develop and promote standards for phenotyping data exchange. We design and steer FAIR data exchange workflows, using URGI storage infrastructure and dedicated tools.

Scope of the Service

URGI provides a toolkit that facilitates data management throughout a project and can be used in independence:

 

Criteria of eligibility and Rates

This service is free of charge.

Users are autonomous and responsible for using the toolbox elements themselves. URGI will only provide limited support, such as bug fixes.

 

Subscription terms

Any publication citing the dataset(s) managed with our toolbox must  cite the URGI platform  . 

 

Project support for data management

 

Scope of the Service

URGI can provide personalized support for data management throughout a project.

We can implement personalized guidelines and customize our tools for data management and publication to answer the project's needs. We are specialized in Genetic Ressources and phenotyping data, but we can work on other thematics in collaboration.

 

Criteria of eligibility and Rates

This service is open primarily to Genetic Ressources and phenotyping data management, because it is our specialty, but we are open to other types of data in collaboration.

As we need a help in human resources to help you, we use partnership opportunities within the framework of the project to work with you.
