13 Dec 2011 142 new gene predictions in L. maculans JN3 genome

New gene prediction has been relaunched using Eugene on three contigs mis-annotated in the first genome release :

142 new gene predictions are now available for the Leptosphaeria maculans genome (accessions: Lema_P12470.1 to Lema_P126110.1). Among them, 14 have been tagged "unreliable" and named Lema_uPXXXXXX.1.

  • lmctg_1245_v2 localized on lm_SuperContig_11_v2 (77 genes)
  • lmctg_0873_v2 localized on lm_SuperContig_9_v2 (46 genes)
  • lmctg_1207_v2 localized on lm_SuperContig_12_v2 (19 genes)

These new predictions are now available through the Genome Browser:

These gene functional annotation is in progress.

The other L. maculans ressources (Blast, Download section) will be updated in the next coming days.

The current release of the L.maculans gene repository available in the International Nucleotide Sequence Database (INSD) will be also soon updated.
