Plant Synteny viewer is a project coordinated at scientific level by Jerome Salse INRA GDEC, funded by INRA GAP departement whose goal is to develop a graphical tool to display and to navigate between genes in ancestral chromosome and modern chromosomes. URGI is in charge of software development.

Results:
- The development of this new tool, Plant Synteny Viewer, guided by J. Salse needs, is now closed.
- The tool was used with real data given by J. Salse's team at INRA Clermont Ferrand. It is open for query for project partners with a login account
- A paper is in prep. in 2013, to present these data and the tools.
- The tool will be publicly available for query, on the URGI Web site, as soon as the publication will be accepted.
- A first demo of this tool was done at IJPB Versailles, in 2013 to french barley community
