URGI is a research unit in genomics and bioinformatics at INRA (French National institute for Agricultural Research), dedicated to plants and crop parasites. We develop and maintain a genomic and genetic information system called GnpIS, especially for wheat.
In the frame of the IWGSC (International Wheat Genome Sequence Consortium) sequence survey initiative, we set up a sequence repository on the new Wheat@URGI website (http://wheat-urgi.versailles.inra.fr). It allows to blast your favorite sequence against the wheat survey sequence assemblies and download the related contigs. It is also possible to download the chromosome assemblies and the preliminary genome zipper (virtual gene order). Moreover this repository is integrated to GnpIS to access wheat genomic and genetic data such as physical maps, genetic maps, genome annotations, polymorphisms and genetic resources data.
All the wheat chromosome assemblies are now available at : http://wheat-urgi.versailles.inra.fr/Seq-Repository
