• Description: Alloteropsis is a widely-distributed genus with C3 and C4 photosynthetic species belonging to the Poaceae family. This study characterized the complete chloroplast genomes of two Alloteropsis species from China, i.e. Alloteropsis semialata with C4 photosynthetic type and Alloteropsis cimicina with C3 photosynthetic type, located in Chinese mainland.
