Prunus humilis cultivar:Jinou 1 Genome sequencing
In this project, we provided a chromosome-level reference genome of C. humilis using a combination of the PacBio single molecule sequencing (SMRT) and high-through chromosome conformation capture (Hi-C) technologies. The estimated genome size of C. humilis is 228.20 Mb. Based on the 35.08 Gb Hi-C clean data, 399 scaffolds were anchored into 8 pseudo-chromosomes with a total length of 201.80 Mb (94.34% of the total length). The chromosomal sequences of C. humilis will provide a valuable genetic resource for the further population genetics and genetic regulation of biological traits in breeding programs, as well as deep investigation of the chromosome-level evolution within genus Cerasus.
