• Description: Clitoria ternatea (Butterfly pea), a perennial climber, is a well known plant for its agricultural and medical applications. It is also the only member of the Fabaceae family known to produces an abundant amount of ultra-stable macrocyclic peptides across all tissues. This is a transcriptomics study to understand cyclotide diversity, its biosynthesis and the diverse properties and constituents of C. ternatea plant.
