• Description: This experiment aimed to investigate which genes are involved in the early photomorphogenic root development of dark grown roots when only the shoot was exposed to light. Overall design: The samples consist of two biological replicates of total RNA extracted from primary roots from Arabidopsis Col-0 WT plants grown for 4 and 7 days in total darkness (4D and 7D samples) and grown roots in darkness and shoots in light (4LD and 7LD samples) to mimick the natural root growth environment.
