• Description: Transcriptome analysis of tolerant (SNJ2011-26) and susceptible (HKI-161) maize genotype for water deficit stress was carried out using Illumina Hi-Seq 2500. The leaf sample of fifteen days old seedlings subjected to well watered and water deficit stress were harvested for RNA-Seq analysis. DEGs of different stress-inducible pathways such as ABA signaling, osmotic adjustment, ROS scavenging, signal transduction etc were studied.
