• Description: Inorganic phosphate (Pi) deficiency has long been known as a limiting factor in plant development and growth. Although previous studies have been reported the regulatory mechanism of response to deficient Pi in model plants at mRNA level, little is known about the mRNAs associated with Pi-deficient-responsive processes in alfalfa. The mRNA sequencing program will provide valuable information for understanding the genes response to Pi deprivation in alfalfa.
