Genomic and transcriptomic characterization of NLR gene space in oat
We performed exome capture on the nucleotide binding, leucine-rich repeat genes of oat (cultivar Victoria) using PacBio circular consensus sequencing. This was complemented with RNAseq derived from leaf tissue. Accessions Victoria and Kanota were sequenced at 150 bp paired end reads. Transcriptome assembly was performed using Tophat (version 2.4.0) with default parameters, using Trimmomatic for read trimming.
