Description
Herbaspirillum spp. colonise rice and other plants and stimulate plant growth and productivity. However the molecular factors involved are largely unknown. To further explore this interaction, an RNA-seq transcriptional analysis of Nipponbare rice roots after 3 days of inoculation with Herbaspirillum seropedicae SmR1 was carried out in two independent samples (biological replicates) of each treatment (non-inoculated and inoculated). Yielding a total of 4 sequencing libraries, which were designated IR3a and IR3b libraries (inoculated roots) and CR3a and CR3b (non-inoculated roots).
