Description
The goal of this study is to reveal the global pattern of polymorphism in rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) based on resequencing the genomes of a collection of 1007 rapeseed genetic materials originating from major regions of rapeseed production of the world. The data provides a base for genome-wide association analysis of important agronomic and quality traits of rapeseed, such as of flowering time that enable rapeseed to adapt eco-conditions, especially temperature and day length in different parts of the world by dividing themselves into spring, winter and semi-winter eco-groups. The data also help in uncovering the footprints of domestication and breeding, and figure out the structure of the B. napus genome.
