• Description: Nicotiana attenuata has been used to study plant-organism interactions (e.g. insect herbivores, pollinators and pathogenic microorganisms) for more than 20 years. A large amount of adaptive biochemical and morphological plasticity responses to environmental signals are known. The transgenic N. attenuata line sequenced in this BioProject is impaired in the biosynthesis of jasmonic acid and of 17-hydroxygeranyllinalool diterpenoid glycosides.
