Description
DBMIB specifically causes over-reduction of the plastoquinone pool in chloroplasts, leading to H2O2 production in plant cell. Here, DGE profile analysis was performed to investigate the DBMIB- and H2O2-induced transcription profiles of Arabidopsis leaves, which could reveal retrograde signaling initiated by the reduction of plastoquinone pool.
