Description
Cupressus gigantean, one of the rare and endemic tree species in China, is excellent material with important economic and ecological value. Speeding up the resource cultivation and efficient utilization of C. gigantea is of great significance to the realization of forest green growth. Here, we present a de novo transcriptome sequencing for breeding program with Illumina paired-end sequencing. In total, 144,175,052 high quality reads were assembled into 101,092 unigenes, with an average sequence length of 1,029 bp.
