Description
Mosaic disease is a major viral disease that severely compromises sugarcane production and results in decreased yield and sugar content. Among these, Sorghum mosaic virus (SrMV) is the most prevalent pathogen. To better understand the interaction mechanism between sugarcane and SrMV, two respective samples of SrMV-infected and disease-free leaves of sugarcane cultivar ROC22 were deep sequenced using the Illumina HiSeqTM 2000 sequencing platform and the reliability of the sequencing data was confirmed by qRT-PCR. In total, 89,338 unigenes and 481 differentially expressed unigenes were achieved.
