• Description: Analysis of effect of water deficit on gene expression in two accessions of finger millet (ragi, Eleusine coracana). Water was withheld for 6 days from soil grown plants in environmental chambers starting 26 days after sowing, and well-watered controls were grown in parallel. Tissues including young leaves and apical meristem were harvested from the base of the shoot in two independent experiments (i.e. two biological replicates).
