Description
Eight leaf transcriptomes of wild oil-tea camellia from different latitudes and elevations were paired-end sequenced with Illumina HiSeq2000. 57.3 Gb high quality sequences were obtained and assembled into 177258 unigenes with a total length of 91.6 Mb. A large amount of SNPs, InDels and SSRs were discovered. Gene expression patterns among different temperatures were compared and candidate genes related to cold tolerance were identified.
