• Description: Using a newly developed bioinformatics pipeline to separate homeologous RNAseq reads, we have demonstrated that zinc accumulation in A. kamchatica is largely the result of transcriptional patterns and polymorphism derived from the diploid hyperaccumulating ancestor A. halleri despite hybridization with a non-accumulating A. lyrata ancestor.
