Brånakollene is a nature reserve situated in Larvik in Vestfold. Bumped terrain with rich water content. The forest is unmanaged. Information on the naturereserve can be found here (In Norwegian). Characterized as an old growth forest. http://faktaark.naturbase.no/Vern?id=VV00001139. There is a private road to the site which is closed with a turnpike. Approximately 20-30 minutes walk from the road. To do field work there you need to have a permittion from the nature management in Vestfold county.
